Yard Sale Pizza is on the search for a Delivery Cyclist to join our amazing team. We started with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney in 2014 and now offer delivery, dine-in, and takeaway in 17 neighbourhoods. Known for our collaborations, we’ve teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs, and local eateries in the quest for the perfect pie!
We’ve won London’s most-loved restaurant in Time Out’s 2016 Love London awards, were awarded Best Cheap Eats in the Observer Food Monthly Awards in 2017, and were voted London’s favourite pizza in Time Out’s inaugural Clash of the Slices in 2022. We’re a young and fast-growing company offering plenty of career progression for hardworking and talented individuals.
We’re hiring enthusiastic Delivery Cyclists to work across evenings and weekends to deliver pizzas to local residents. We have e-bikes with top speeds of 25km/h, ensuring an efficient delivery service. We also offer a fantastic opportunity for cyclists to become moped drivers, with 50% of the CBT course paid by the company (terms and conditions apply). Thorough training will be provided.
What’s on offer:
- Paying £12.71 per hour
- Opportunities to progress to Senior Cyclist Position
- Permanent contract – up to 5 shifts per week depending on the needs of the business
- All overtime is paid for
- Payment every 2 weeks
- Team Tips paid monthly based on hours worked
- Other bonus incentives and refer-a-friend scheme
- Half of CBT paid for those interested in driving mopeds (Terms apply)
- In-house training programs to become a manager or a pizza chef
- E-Bikes and weatherproof equipment provided
Essential requirements:
- Available to work Friday and Saturday evenings (shifts finish up to 11.30pm)
- Must have cycling experience/love for cycling
- Excellent road/navigation experience
- Working smartphone with data & good knowledge of local areas
- Delivery experience not essential but must have excellent customer service skills
- Team player & positive attitude
- Applicants must be at least 17 years old to apply
