Job Title: Participation and Engagement Operative
Reports To: The Designated Partner/CEO
Position Overview: Coach Operative for participation and engagement. This is an exciting role within a dynamic equestrian organisation to develop and implement engagement and development opportunities using equine engagement and intervention across various courses and programs. The role involves working two evenings a week, one weekend day, over a five-day week, with flexible hours between 10-40 hours, including holidays and pension contributions. There is also an opportunity to participate in a coach enhancement pilot program.
Skills required: Qualified equestrian professional with a keen interest in using various techniques to improve the lives of humans and animals. A practical assessment of coaching and horse care skills will be part of the interview process.
Essential Job Functions: Lead Coach qualified to a minimum of BHS Stage Three in Complete Horsemanship (BHSAI) or similar, an active member of the BHS Accredited Professional Coach (APC) scheme, with a genuine interest in participant development through inclusive coaching, and experience in training, teaching, or supervising individuals/groups.
