Carmel Stud, based in Norton St Philip, nr.Bath in Somerset has a vacancy for an experienced Groom to help us prepare yearling thoroughbreds for the sales. The position is part time and experience with yearling thoroughbreds would be very beneficial but experience of working with horses is essential.

Duties will include preparing thoroughbred yearlings for the sales, including walking in hand, grooming, caring for mares and foals and all normal yard duties.

The successful applicant must be reliable, hard working and be able to work to an extremely high standard. The position will commence mid July at the latest.
