A private show jumping stable based near Rugby is seeking an experienced rider show groom. This role will be primarily to help develop our young horses and general yard duties, though there will occasionally be opportunity to jump some more established horses. We are seeking someone experienced in producing young horses and with experience jumping young horse classes at international competitions, though national experience alone may be considered. There will be opportunities to jump the horses at national and international competitions.
We are passionate about producing the horses correctly, keeping them healthy and happy for long sport careers. Though there will be help and guidance from the other riders and manager, we need someone that has a good understanding of how to confidently and correctly produce a young horse so that they have positive experiences.
This role can be live in or out - small single accommodation is available on site. 5 or 5.5 day week. Salary will be competitive based on experience and will also offer bonuses at time of sale for horses that they have produced.
