Production Operator (12 month fixed-term contract) role at Yara International. Based at Yara Pocklington Global Plant, with potential for permanent opportunities at the new Howden plant.

Responsibilities
- Operate production plant and equipment, including liquid and powder filling lines, and operate mechanical handling equipment such as counterbalance forklift trucks (training provided if needed).
- Cross-train within different areas on site and report to the Process Manager.
- Work on rotating shift patterns or standard days as required.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all safety, process and occupational procedures.
- Prioritise safety and quality in all tasks; ideally hold an FLT licence, but training will be provided for successful candidates who need one.
Qualifications
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work to high safety standards.
- Able to work rotating shift patterns; FLT licence is ideal, but training will be provided for those who need one.
- Experience with semi-automatic filling lines or chemical/process environments is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary £27,942 (£13.43 per hour) plus 15% shift premium when on shifts.
- 25 days holiday (plus option to buy 5 more).
