Yara Pocklington is part of the global company Yara International ASA and is a leader in the product development, manufacture and marketing of speciality nutrients & biostimulant products for use in regenerative agriculture worldwide. The business has grown significantly in recent years and has continued ambitious growth objectives for its Biological products. To meet this growth a new Global Production plant is currently being built in Howden, UK.
We are seeking an Office Services & Training Coordinator to support the management of all office/site services within the Pocklington site, with the requirement to cover reception duties as required (mainly for holiday cover) in Pocklington and, from 2026, to include the Howden reception cover. The role reports to the Office Manager and will assist with the maintenance of the training and development requirements for the UK & Ireland legal entity.
Responsibilities
- Support all site departments with ad hoc administrative tasks, including but not limited to: accounts administration; stock taking and ordering; data and document management; travel and accommodation requests.
- Management of Video conferencing facilities including maintenance and servicing contracts.
- Organization of site Occupational Health checks for all employees on site.
- Manage stock, purchase, and delivery of consumable items.
- Cover the Reception role as required, which from 2026 could include the Howden site.
- Data entry and maintenance of the training records system for the UK legal entity.
- Support the Office Manager with the purchase ordering & invoicing process and supplier queries.
- Proactive approach to identify expired training and coordination of required training with departments / employees.
Profile
To support the management of all office services within the Pocklington site, under the direction of the Office Manager and to assist with the maintenance of the training and development requirements for the UK & Ireland legal entity, ensuring attention to detail and consistency throughout all aspects of the role.
The Ideal Candidate Criteria
- Relevant office administration experience.
- Competence with Microsoft Excel.
- SAP experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrate good attention to detail.
- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to provide cover.
- Be a self-starter and work on own initiative.
