What weâre looking for: As we scale our business and prepare for accelerated product-led growth, we are looking for a proactive and experienced individual to take on a hybrid role that bridges project management and business analyst in a role we are calling Business Systems Analyst. Our immediate strategic focus is to extend our existing Open Banking PIS and AIS infrastructure to offer payment and settlement services. As a result of moving into the money flow and being EMI regulated, we will deliver and enhance a number of internal tools and platforms that support robust and efficient operating of the business.
To this end, Yapily is looking for a dynamic, personable individual who can help design and implement the technology foundation that enables automation across client onboarding, FRAML, Regulatory Compliance and Treasury Management. You will be experienced in designing solutions for financial services products in a fast moving environment and have exposure to products and tools used to manage Risk and Compliance, Business Operations and Treasury Management. You are highly collaborative and solutions focused. You are comfortable designing and implementing technology frameworks to support effective business operations across multiple functions. You communicate effectively to promote an environment that truly understands the business and other benefits of effective operational excellence. You are results-oriented and energised by change. You will help to foster a collaborative and fun âcan doâ mindset across the teams you support.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Leading partner engagements relating to RFPâs.
- Working with internal stakeholders, clearly define and document business requirements and outcomes.
- Engage with engineering to define technical deliverables, integration timelines and release management.
- Manage the delivery and implementation of new tools, platforms, policy and process.
- Systems mapping/visualisation to show how different tools, modules & platforms relate and operate.
- Process Mapping of end to end User Experience.
- Display cross-Functional Leadership, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Operations, and Legal/Compliance teams to deliver the optimal business workflows while delivering business efficiency and risk management.
- Negotiate with vendors on contracts and costings.
- Communicate and embed new process and policy into the business.

Not only will you be comfortable when asked to input and lead in other areas, but youâll be comfortable being a self-starter and instigating changes yourself.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in working in a similar delivery role, preferably in a fast paced fintech environment.
- Strong Stakeholder Management.
- Good understanding of Data Privacy & GDPR.
- Experience of Business Operations, Risk & Compliance or Sales Enablement.
- EMI regulatory experience would be preferable.
- Prince 2 skills in being able to project manage multiple deliverables.
- Good understanding of financial crime control framework, specifically, KYB workflows, fraud and case management.
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders and report at board level deliverables.
