As a Finance Analyst, you will partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams across the UK and Ireland to drive strong commercial performance for Yankee Candle and other brands in the Home Fragrance category. You will provide insight-led financial analysis, support planning cycles, and help ensure robust financial governance. You will be part of a collaborative finance team, working cross-functionally to influence decisions and deliver sustainable results.
Responsibilities
- Deliver month-end reporting by building accruals, analysing variances, and ensuring all FP&A deliverables are provided on time and to a high standard.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts by facilitating the process, analysing and challenging assumptions, and providing insight-driven recommendations.
- Produce monthly P&L reporting and clearly communicate financial performance to Sales and Marketing teams.
- Act as a business partner for the Home Fragrance category, driving accountability for P&L delivery and supporting commercial decision-making.
- Oversee Trade and Marketing Spend governance by monitoring investment budgets, assessing ROI, and ensuring alignment with brand guidance and internal policies.
- Support the Finance Manager with commercial analysis, business cases, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Maintain financial tools for the cluster, including trackers, forecasts, and analytical tools.
- Participate in projects aimed at driving process improvements or enhancing capability.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification or finalist status.
- Demonstrated relevant finance experience.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced MS Excel capability.
