Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff - Mandarin Speaking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring exceptional service throughout their dining experience. This position requires individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Assist with seating arrangements effectively.
- Take food and drink orders accurately, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Refill the ingredients display shelves and complimentary sauce station throughout the day.
- Process the takeaway/delivery orders efficiently
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Support catering events as required, assisting with setup and breakdown.
- Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English
- Experience in bartending or catering is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential qualities for this role.
