About the Role

You will design, implement, and operate IoT network solutions for an enterprise client. The core of the role is building and managing IoT connectivity infrastructure — onboarding devices, designing isolation and security strategies, and keeping everything running reliably as the IoT estate grows.

Cisco SD Access, DNA Center, and VxLAN are must-haves. If you don’t have hands-on production experience with all three, this isn’t the right role. The client needs someone who has delivered with these tools — not just familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting IoT solutions end to end
  • Onboarding IoT devices onto the network using Cisco DNA Center
  • Integrating sensors, actuators, and communication modules into IoT systems
  • Developing network strategies using DNAC to isolate and secure IoT traffic
  • Implementing security measures to protect IoT devices and data
  • Evaluating and feasibility-testing IoT solutions and documenting findings
  • Designing networks that can scale to accommodate future IoT growth
  • Documenting system architecture, design specs, and troubleshooting procedures

What We Need

  • Cisco SD Access, DNA Center (DNAC), and VxLAN — production delivery, not certification only
  • Cloud IoT platforms: AWS IoT or Azure IoT
  • Security best practices for IoT devices and networks
  • Hardware integration experience — sensors, actuators, firmware
  • 5–8 years’ experience in IoT development and network engineering
