About the Role

You’ll be joining the infrastructure team at a major global financial services firm, working hands‑on across their full technology stack. The scope is broad — PoC and RFP/RFE initiatives, day‑to‑day operations, and support of live IoT systems including building management, lighting controls, occupancy monitoring, and air quality. This isn’t a narrow specialism role. You’ll move between networking, server administration, automation scripting, and IoT/OT device support depending on what the day demands.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting infrastructure PoC, RFP, and RFE initiatives across diverse platforms
  • Managing and troubleshooting network and security configurations — routers, switches, proxies, firewalls, DMZ, RBAC, Kerberos, SSO, LDAP, AD
  • Server administration across Windows, Linux, Mac, and vendor ecosystems (CA, BMC, IBM DataPower)
  • Writing and maintaining automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Shell
  • Supporting, troubleshooting, and upgrading IoT/OT devices across Android, Windows, Linux, Unix, iOS
  • Working with SecDesign teams to apply appropriate controls for integrated solutions
  • Ensuring production systems stay compliant within the Hygiene programme

What We Need

  • Strong network and security background — you understand layers, configs, and authentication flows inside out
  • Server administration across multiple OS and vendor ecosystems — platform‑agnostic is the expectation
  • Real scripting ability in PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Shell — production experience, not surface‑level
  • Experience supporting IoT/OT devices in enterprise environments
  • Clear, confident communication and stakeholder management skills
  • CI/CD pipeline and cloud technology exposure

Nice to Have

  • BFSI or Capital Markets domain background
  • CCNA, AWS, or Azure certifications
  • Experience working in globally distributed teams
