Shift Details:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 07:00 - 16:00
- No weekend work
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock and materials around the yard
- Serving customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Understanding customer requirements and assisting them in selecting suitable products
- Picking customer orders accurately
- Organising and maintaining stock within the yard
- Assisting with goods in and goods out processes
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Supporting with general yard duties as required
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous Yard Operative experience (essential)
- Experience in a customer facing environment
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
