Role Overview

We're currently recruiting for a temporary Facilities Team Member to join a busy facilities team in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practical maintenance experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining high standards. You'll be supporting the on-site Facilities Team with a variety of planned maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains safe, compliant, and well presented throughout the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out water flushing in line with site procedures.
  • Completing light touch-up painting across the property.
  • Assisting with general handyman and maintenance tasks.
  • Supporting the Facilities Team with day-to-day maintenance activities.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or defects to the Facilities Manager.
  • Following all health and safety policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience.
  • Practical approach with good DIY and basic repair skills.
  • Experience using hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Understanding of health and safety in a maintenance environment is desirable.
