Role Overview
We're currently recruiting for a temporary Facilities Team Member to join a busy facilities team in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practical maintenance experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining high standards. You'll be supporting the on-site Facilities Team with a variety of planned maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains safe, compliant, and well presented throughout the assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out water flushing in line with site procedures.
- Completing light touch-up painting across the property.
- Assisting with general handyman and maintenance tasks.
- Supporting the Facilities Team with day-to-day maintenance activities.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or defects to the Facilities Manager.
- Following all health and safety policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience.
- Practical approach with good DIY and basic repair skills.
- Experience using hand tools safely and effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Understanding of health and safety in a maintenance environment is desirable.
