LEEDSY2K Vintage is entering an exciting new phase as we expand beyond London for the very first time. With the launch of our Leeds store, and our first ever unisex concept, we’re looking for a highly capable Assistant Store Manager to support in building and running this store from day one. This is an opportunity to be part of something new, help shape a store from the ground up, and grow with a brand that’s scaling fast and building a strong community outside of London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Leadership & Ownership
- Support the day-to-day running of the store and take ownership of operations on the shop floor.
- Act as a key decision maker in-store, supporting the Store Manager in delivering overall performance.
- Be the eyes and ears of the business, feeding back insights on product, customers and opportunities.
- Commercial Performance & Strategy
- Drive sales through active shop-floor leadership.
- Support execution of weekly plans of action.
- Monitor KPIs, sell-through and category performance.
- Team Development & Culture
- Lead, coach and motivate the team day-to-day.
- Help build a strong, positive and energetic store culture from launch.
- Support training and development of new team members.
- Customer Experience & Community
- Create a welcoming, high-energy store environment.
- Build relationships with customers and contribute to growing a new community in Leeds.
- Represent the brand authentically.
- Visual Merchandising & Product Curation
- Support the visual identity and flow of the store.
- Help curate product in a way that feels exciting, trend-led and commercial.
- Maintain high visual standards at all times.
- Events, Marketing & Brand Activation
- Support in-store events and activations.
- Work with the wider team to create moments that drive engagement.
- Help establish the store as a key destination within the local scene.
About You:
- Experience in a retail management or supervisory role (fashion or vintage preferred).
- Confident supporting the running of a store in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercially aware with an understanding of sales and customer behaviour.
- A strong team player and natural leader.
- Passionate about vintage fashion, particularly Y2K and early 2000s trends.
- Organised, proactive and thrives in a growing business.
