Team Overview
The New Client Relationships team is the "buying" arm of the Y TREE client lifecycle. We sit at the critical junction between initial awareness and long-term partnership, with a clear mission: to convert qualified leads into clients by managing a sophisticated, data-driven buying process. We operate on a system of radical accountability and togetherness. As an Analyst in this team, you are the foundational engine of our growth. You will be responsible for the technical "bedrock" - the detailed financial strategies and analysis - that empowers our prospective clients to make life-changing financial decisions.
The Role
- Financial Modelling: Conduct Asset & Liability Modelling (ALM) to produce compelling financial strategies that demonstrate the Y TREE value proposition.
- Investment Analysis: Perform in-depth portfolio health checks, performance reviews, and fee analyses to provide prospects with total clarity on their current financial standing.
- Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings, take detailed notes, and work toward presenting technical slides and handling specific client enquiries.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the end-to-end preparation of meeting materials, ensuring all decks and follow-up communications are flawless and timely.
- Data Stewardship: Take ownership of data integrity by reviewing and uploading complex client data into our proprietary system.
- Process Evolution: Collaborate with our Product and Tech teams to test new features and suggest efficiencies in our analytical workflows.
About You
- Qualifications: A First or 2:1 degree in a financial, numerical or scientific discipline. You should be prepared to complete R01 and R02 exams within your first six months.
- Mindset: You possess a deep sense of commercial acumen and are driven by the desire to close new business. You are relentlessly curious about financial planning and the needs of sophisticated clients.
- Analytical Rigour: You have an innate attention to detail with a "zero-failure" standard for final analytical outputs.
- Communication: You can translate raw data into clear, professional narratives for prospects and internal stakeholders alike.
- Accountability: You take personal ownership of outcomes and can perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic growth environment.
