At the heart of this mission is Financial Modelling, the conceptual engine behind our proprietary models and analytical frameworks. This team brings intellectual rigour to our service, focusing on what truly matters in our clients’ financial lives. We distill complex financial realities into user-friendly, actionable, and personalised insights powered by data. Every model and tool we build is designed to be robust, scalable, and purposeful, providing the unifying logic that powers the entire client lifecycle.

Role Overview
The Asset & Liability Model Development Lead is responsible for the technical development, feature refinement, and structural precision of Y TREE’s core financial life projection engine. To achieve this, they will focus on designing advanced financial logic, executing software engineering frameworks, and translating frontline business needs into model capabilities. Their focus is on translating intricate wealth planning architecture into codebase specifications, maintaining a structured asset liability modelling (ALM) release pipeline, and managing functional requirements directly with client-facing teams. They will work collaboratively with the Client, Product, and core Development teams to ensure the evolution of our proprietary engines is directly aligned with real-world client modelling demands and systemic platform enhancements.

Partner with development teams to manage the ALM release pipeline, ensuring model parameters are reliably deployed and aligned with market updates.
  • Cross-Functional Integration & Empowerment: Support translation of Client Team feature requests and advice requirements into precise, buildable engine specifications. Collaborate closely with the Product team to embed financial models into new features and ensure efficient development of our calculation engines. Provide technical guidance on asset liability modelling behaviour or assumptions to empower internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Research & Development: Stay abreast of industry best practices, academic research, and emerging technologies in financial modelling, AI/ML applications in finance, and behavioural economics to continually enhance Y TREE's capabilities. Identify opportunities for innovation and competitive differentiation through advanced financial intelligence.
