We provide our clients with control over their personal finances, enhancing their ability to achieve their financial and life aspirations. We are harnessing sophisticated portfolio analytics, innovative behavioural psychology and cutting-edge UX/UI to create a revolutionary experience and transformational outcomes for our users. The business was founded in 2017 by three successful entrepreneurs and business-builders with diverse experiences and skill-sets in Technology, Corporate Advice and Investment Management and is backed by some of Europe’s leading investors. Role Overview The Y TREE Client Advice team is one of the largest and most integral in the business. As a Financial Life Strategy Analyst you will be a key member of that dynamic team, working with the Advisers to provide genuinely unbiased financial advice; ultimately changing the consumer experience in the world of personal finance. The Role This is a role in our Client Advice team where you will be given the training and opportunity to understand our technologies and our unique approach to personal finance. You will gain exposure to the advisory process in a way you just couldn\'t in a larger firm. Working under the guidance of your team leader, you will conduct in-depth portfolio and asset analysis and contribute to the development of asset liability management tools. You will also make recommendations for client portfolios in line with their risk tolerance and investment objectives. This work contributes to building each client\'s Financial Life Strategy, underpinning all of the financial advice we offer. A significant part of your role will be to participate in and contribute to client meetings. You will build presentation materials for client meetings, this could potentially include assisting in the pitch process to win clients and respond to client queries, all contributing to your relationship-building skills. As part of an agile, meritocratic culture, you will also have the opportunity to be part of broader firm-building initiatives such as recruitment, user testing, strategy and digital product experiences. Requirements The Technical Bit CII qualifications are preferable, but not essential. If you have completed CISI or the CFA we would expect you to have some financial planning qualifications, or that you can demonstrate an interest in studying this in the future. Further qualifications will be supported by the business, where appropriate. A key part of this role is working with financial modelling tools that Y TREE has built. It therefore requires a good understanding and ability to interpret and analyse data. For that reason, we would ideally like you to hold a minimum of a Bachelor in a Finance related degree. If you have an alternative degree, but can demonstrate the skills above we will also ask you to demonstrate tangible understanding and interest in Financial Services through participation in clubs, societies or personal investments. We will consider applications from people with up to 3 years of existing experience in a Financial Services role. So much of this role requires you to be a clear and concise communicator, so we will ask you to demonstrate excellent written and verbal English skills The Person The deeper you immerse yourself in this role, the more value you can add to our team. For that reason we would like you to be somebody with an inquisitive mind and keen to learn. You will gain client exposure very early on in this role, so we would like you to be warm and engaging, with the ability to build strong, well-rounded relationships. We are not a big financial institution (yet!) so you will need to be solutions-led and have a proactive approach and ability to proactively seek answers. We would like you to have a methodical and detail-orientated approach to work. We work at pace; outcomes are time sensitive so we would like you to be somebody who performs well under pressure. Our community is where our power lies, so you must be an effective collaborator and confident working as part of a small team that is building a business. We are driving innovation in our area of personal finance and our product is a reflection of our team. We would like for you to be somebody who is intelligent, an independent thinker and somebody who is eager to share ideas. We operate a very flat hierarchy in the business.Teamwork and a focus on others are key to thriving here What\'s in it for you? The ability to hone your skills and cultivate your craft in a genuinely outcome led, flexible, happy work environment. We have a hybrid working policy and the ability to flex your hours as you need. 25 days of annual leave per year. This is 25 days each year we expect you to turn your phone off and switch off; we would never ask you to book leave for a doctor\'s appointment or to see your children\'s school plays. Regular team socials to help you switch off from work and get to know your colleagues in an environment away from your desk. We ensure socials are well-balanced and offer a variety of activities to suit different needs so you always feel welcome.
