Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan to support business expansion and team development in the UK, as well as talent needs in Hong Kong, New York, and Tokyo markets.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for both UK and overseas roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, shortlisting, offer management, and onboarding coordination across different time zones.
- Build and maintain a talent database for key roles, especially hard-to-fill positions in the UK and international markets such as Hong Kong, New York, and Tokyo, enabling systematic talent pooling and management.
- Collaborate with department heads and global stakeholders to define role requirements, job descriptions, and selection criteria, ensuring alignment with local and international market benchmarks.
- Oversee job advertising across multiple channels in the UK and overseas, including LinkedIn, specialist job boards, referral programmes, and recruitment agencies.
- Monitor and improve recruitment metrics across regions: time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate, 3-month retention, and quality of hire.
- Manage external recruitment agencies and headhunters in the UK and international markets—negotiate terms, evaluate performance, and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice in the UK and key overseas markets including Hong Kong, New York, and Tokyo.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, or Senior Recruiter in the UK market, with exposure to or interest in covering overseas markets such as Hong Kong, New York, and Tokyo.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment for professional, commercial, or technical roles in the UK's competitive talent market, as well as cross-border recruitment.
- Proven experience in building and managing a talent database, with the ability to systematically source and pipeline passive candidates through local and international channels (LinkedIn, professional associations, industry events, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills—fluent in English (essential); additional languages such as Mandarin are advantageous for dealing with international stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills—ability to prioritise and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously across different regions and time zones.
