To lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment function across the business, delivering high-quality talent acquisition in line with business growth, culture and operational needs. To develop and optimise recruitment processes, manage hiring teams, build talent pipelines, and ensure a positive candidate experience while meeting time, quality and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan to support business expansion and team development.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, shortlisting, offer management and onboarding coordination.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for key roles, especially senior, technical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Collaborate with department heads to define role requirements, job descriptions and selection criteria.
- Oversee job advertising across multiple channels: job boards, social media, referrals, agencies and campus recruitment.
- Monitor and improve recruitment metrics: time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate, retention and quality of hire.
- Manage external recruitment agencies and vendors, negotiate terms and ensure service delivery.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR, equal opportunity and diversity policies.
- Lead, train and develop the recruitment team (if applicable), set KPIs and conduct performance reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager or Senior Recruiter in the UK or international market.
- Full understanding of UK employment law, GDPR and best practice in recruitment and selection.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment for professional, commercial or technical roles.
- Strong network and ability to source passive candidates through multiple channels.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and MS Office.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
