Y Royalties, in partnership with Pophouse, is looking for a Revenue Assurance & Royalties Manager to join the team in Stockholm. The role is responsible for income tracking, royalty accuracy and counterparty management across Pophouse’s music catalogue portfolio. It sits at the intersection of portfolio finance and deal execution, with direct impact on cash collection, valuation confidence and downside protection. This is a highly specialised role within Rights Management, working at the crossroads of music rights, finance, data and investment.

Y Royalties is a data-led and innovative workplace with a growing presence in the music rights space. The company helps artists, labels, publishers and investors gain clarity, control and value across the entire music rights journey — from rights management and royalty auditing to accounting and transaction advisory.

At Pophouse, we unlock the power of entertainment. Pophouse acquires and develops rights to some of the world’s most iconic artists and entertainment brands, creating innovative experiences that shape the future of music, culture and storytelling. The company invests in and develops brands within entertainment, specialising in music catalogue investments.

In this role, you will:

  • Own revenue assurance across publishing, recorded music and neighbouring rights
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on royalty statements, with a deep understanding of how reporting works across DSPs, labels, publishers and PROs/CMOs
  • Own relationships with payees and counterparties, including labels, publishers, PROs/CMOs, neighbouring-rights agencies and DSPs
  • Monitor royalty statements, usage data and cash receipts
  • Identify under-reporting, missing income and anomalies
  • Lead investigations, claims, back-claims and adjustments through to resolution
  • Stay updated on statement restatements, accounting changes, policy updates and contractual adjustments
  • Assess the financial impact of royalty-related changes and issues
  • Work closely with the deal team on underwriting, post-close reviews and complex catalogue structures
  • Partner with the Finance Director and third-party accounting functions on reconciliations, reporting and portfolio-level insights
  • Improve income-tracking processes, controls and automation to support scale

We are looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years’ experience in royalty analysis, income tracking or revenue assurance within the music industry
  • Strong experience interpreting royalty statements across multiple sources and rights types
  • A deep understanding of royalty reporting across DSPs, labels, publishers, PROs/CMOs and other relevant counterparties
  • Experience identifying and resolving under-reporting, missing income, anomalies, claims, back-claims and adjustments
  • Confidence in owning external relationships and driving issues to resolution
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to understand what matters financially in complex royalty flows
  • Clear communication skills and credibility across finance, investment and external stakeholders
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken

It is also valuable if you are:

  • Analytical but pragmatic — able to dig into the detail without losing sight of what matters
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — catalogue deals can be complex, and your role is to bring clarity
  • Technology-minded — comfortable using data-driven tools to make better decisions
  • Collaborative — able to work across the business and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This is an opportunity to join two teams with one shared mission. Y Royalties and Pophouse share the same values and mission, and in this role, you will work within Y Royalties while being immersed in Pophouse’s Stockholm office and culture. You will be part of a small, agile and fast-growing environment where your work will have direct impact. You will have access to founders, senior management, finance, investment stakeholders and leading entertainment rights professionals. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to something that matters — helping bring clarity, control and value to complex music catalogue structures and shaping the future of global entertainment rights.

The role is based at Pophouse’s office in Stockholm.
