As a after-sales technical member of the UK team, you will ensure stable operation of automated equipment including RockyLight SE at key client sites. You will focus on electrical system maintenance and troubleshooting, collaborate with project managers, comply strictly with safety regulations, deliver efficient technical support and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-site Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
    • Electrical Inspection: Diagnose robot system faults based on circuit diagrams; test sensors, servo drives, switching power supplies and other electrical components with multimeter.
    • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct quarterly and annual routine maintenance to secure firm wiring and normal system parameters.
    • Mechanical Adjustment: Perform basic fitting work, including conveyor belt tension adjustment, motor replacement and mechanical structure lubrication.
    • Equipment Deployment: Assist on-site installation, complete cable tray wiring, control cabinet wiring and I/O signal testing.
    • Acceptance Check: Cooperate with project managers on safety inspection to guarantee delivered equipment meets technical standards.
  • Safety & Compliance Execution
    • LOTO Procedure: Strictly implement lockout-tagout protocol and fully isolate power source before all maintenance work.
    • Regulatory Compliance: All operations shall conform to UK PUWER safety requirements.
  • Service Documentation & Spare Parts Management
    • Work Log: Record maintenance details and replaced parts accurately.
    • Inventory Management: Manage vehicle spare parts stock and coordinate with German operation team for restocking.
    • Certification: Possess valid BS 7671 wiring regulations qualification.
    • Industry Card: Hold valid ECS card or electrical CSCS card; obtainable within one month after employment is acceptable.
    • Driving License: Valid UK driving licence.
    • Academic Background: Major in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related disciplines.
    • Practical Skills: Able to read circuit drawings, proficient in basic hand tools, capable of electrical troubleshooting; hands-on experience in PLC projects.
