THE ROLE

We are looking for an excellent Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer to play a crucial role in the development of our next Augmented reality helmet design. With an opportunity to work on an incredible innovative product, designing the next generation world leading augmented reality hardware.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work within the Hardware Team to develop complex schematics, and 6+ layer PCBs.
  • Working with high-speed digital signalling i.e. PCI-e, USB C, DisplayPort etc.
  • Design microprocessor and microcontroller-based systems, as well as work with wireless technologies.
  • Plan project timelines and manage product.
  • Fault-finding, with hands-on experience in soldering down to 0402 or 0201.
  • Work individually or as part of a team to meet deadlines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Electronics degree, or related.
  • 5+ years of industry experience.

KEY EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Altium for PCB layout and schematic capture.
  • High speed and embedded Knowledge.
  • Must be passionate about incubating new ideas, solving problems, and building working systems.
  • Experience of C/C++ on both embedded and OS systems.
  • Preparation of test/production rigs.
  • EMC test experience.
