THE ROLE
Our model combines a new age of 4D Scheduling with objective, real-time insights using Augmented Reality for quality and progress tracking. As a Planner at XYZ Reality, you will be responsible for managing the planning and delivery of projects across multiple locations, working in collaboration with our engineering, production and sales teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. We're open to planners from a wide range of project-based industries β including Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, and Manufacturing β where complex, multi-disciplinary programme management is second nature. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead external planning teams with proficiency in Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject and 4D integration.
- Integrate Project Programme(s) in accordance with client requirements into the 3D design, including the MEP programme (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) to sequence the build within the BIM model.
- Work with the Sales Team on client calls, demonstrating strong schedule and project knowledge.
- Project data analytics using Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps and Excel β with regular progress reporting at both customer and company level.
- Monitor productivity and completion deadlines, maintaining regular stakeholder interaction as a front-end, client-facing role.
- Provide technical and assurance support for Planning & Project Controls within the XYZ Project Team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of scheduling experience in a complex, multi-disciplinary project environment β construction, Oil & Gas, energy, infrastructure, or similar.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent enterprise scheduling tools.
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline β or equivalent practical experience.
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
KEY EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Strong programme management skills β able to integrate schedules, sequences, and dependencies across multi-disciplinary project workstreams.
- Ability to analyse a project sequence, identify risks and coordination issues, and drive resolution β regardless of industry background.
- A relentless and dynamic approach to working with people, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive the best outcomes.
- Able to coach and challenge both management and non-specialists; comfortable operating across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with experience in regular progress reporting at senior level.
- Curiosity and appetite to learn β construction technology is a specialism we can teach; great planning instincts are what we're hiring for.
