Project Planner Opportunity: Our model combines a new age of 4D Planning with objective, real-time insights using Augmented Reality for quality and progress tracking. As a Construction Planner at XYZ Reality, you will be responsible for managing the planning and delivery of projects across multiple locations throughout EMEA, working in collaboration with our engineering, production and sales teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading external planning teams while being proficient with Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject and 4D integration.
  • Responsible for integrating Project Programme(s) in accordance with Client requirements into the 3D design.
  • Expanding the scheduled activities including MEP programme (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) to sequence the build and integrate within the BIM model.
  • Working with the Sales Team on client calls and demonstrating good schedule and construction knowledge.
  • Project Data analytics with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps and Excel.
  • Regular progress reporting at both a customer and company level.
  • Monitoring productivity and completion deadlines.
  • This is a front-end role so you will be in regular interaction with stakeholders.
  • Responsible for technical and assurance support for Planning & Project Controls in the XYZ Project Team.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • 2 - 6 years Construction Project Planning experience.
  • Educated to professional level with a relevant construction-related degree.
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry with working knowledge of MEP planning (ideally data centres or high-tech / mission critical sectors).
  • Experience with Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject.
  • Ability to analyse a construction sequence, identify risks and hazards, and resolve coordination issues.
  • A relentless and dynamic approach to dealing with people and be able to influence them to take the best approach.
  • Able to coach and challenge management and non-specialists.
  • Candidates with 4D Construction software experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK without requirement for sponsorship either now or in future.
  • Must be happy to travel 'semi-regularly' to project locations across Europe for a couple of days at a time for meetings and workshops.
