The bit about us: Founded in 2019, by 3 incredibly motivated entrepreneurs whose mission was clear - business should be a force for good. We consider people and planet as well as profit. We are very proud to be a Certified B Corp! We currently manage almost 400,000 sq ft of hospitality focused co-working, event, and exclusive Clubspaces for over 5000 members. We operate across the UK, with offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Milton Keynes, with plans to launch more sites in 2025 (and beyond!).
The bit about the role: As Sales Executive, you’ll take full ownership of the event sales journey, from the first spark of interest to the final invoice. You’ll be the face, voice, and driving force behind our meeting room and events success story. Working closely with our hugely supportive Head of Event Sales, responsibilities include:
- Diary management, contracts and invoicing
- Proactively sell meeting rooms and event spaces at Fivefields
- Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email and in-person
- Conduct site tours and build strong relationships with clients
- Prepare quotes, contracts and follow up leads to conversion
- Track bookings, revenue and pipeline activity
- Identify opportunities to upsell services and increase repeat business
- Champion our sustainability ethos in every client conversation
- Collaborate with operations to ensure each event runs flawlessly
The bit about you: You are a natural relationship builder, with a strategic mindset and a love for closing deals that make clients smile. You’re just as comfortable pitching to executives, as you are showing clients around our spaces. Super organised in your approach, you love the negotiation process and set your sights firmly on smashing your quarterly targets. You are curious, ask the right questions and know when to listen. With a flair for storytelling, you are able to ensure each client fully understands how we curate unforgettable event experiences. Yes, personality is fundamental to this role, but so is your confidence using CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and social media for lead generation. And given our passion for all things sustainability, you see real value in working for an ethically driven business. A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or Business would be the cherry on top, but experience, creativity, and ambition are what truly matter.
Why x+why? We want you to enjoy coming to work every day. Even on Mondays. To make sure of this we will provide you with a phenomenal environment - think inspiring design, cutting edge tech, stunning views, great coffee, and lots and lots of plants! Plus, you’ll be part of our incredibly supportive, collaborative team, who although take their jobs very seriously, also want to have a little fun along the way.
