This position is for a casual Barista based at the iconic 103 Colmore Row building in Birmingham. You will support the launch of a new coffee cart in the foyer, serving members, visitors and guests from 7 am to midday over 10–20 working hours per week, split across 2–3 weekday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare high‑quality coffees and drinks, maintaining impeccable presentation standards.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure the coffee cart operates smoothly each day.
  • Build relationships with customers, remember regular orders and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take ownership of the space, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Accidentally experienced barista with strong coffee knowledge and excellent technical skills in extraction, milk texturing and consistency.
  • Confident working independently, reliable, well‑presented and personable.
  • Experience in a premium hospitality, café or specialty coffee environment is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexibly within the stated hours and shifts.

Compensation and Benefits

  • £13.50 per hour Monday‑Friday only (no weekends)
