Extreme vegetation clearance based near Newton Abbot, Devon require self-employed operatives to carry out vegetation clearance, countryside and rural construction & grounds maintenance duties on a self-employed, ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:
- NPTC or Lantra Brush-cutter / Chainsaw qualifications and experience required.
- Self-employed status required; work undertaken will be paid upon receipt of an invoice.
- Brush-cutter certification (NPTC or Lantra).
- First Aid at work qualification.
- UTR self-assessment No. (unique tax reference).
Desirable requirements:
- Public liability insurance (suitable for work type).
- Manual handling qualification.
- Any other land-based training, health & safety or plant operative qualifications.
- Any construction, fencing or groundworks experience.
You will need to be hard working, reliable, honest and self-motivated. Have your own transport, mobile phone, steel toe cap boots and waterproof clothing. All additional PPE necessary will be supplied. An interest in the countryside, environment and wildlife would be desirable. Please note the type of work can be extremely physically demanding so please consider this before applying!
