Technical Consultant – VMware Infrastructure
We design and deliver VMware-based cloud and infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers. This role focuses on implementing and supporting those environments, working closely with customers to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering VMware infrastructure projects across vSphere, NSX and related technologies
- Supporting deployments, migrations and upgrades in customer environments
- Working directly with customers to understand requirements and resolve technical challenges
- Ensuring environments are stable, secure and production-ready
Typical projects:
- VMware environment deployments and upgrades
- Disaster recovery and migration projects (HCX, SRM)
- Network and security configuration using NSX
What we’re looking for:
- Hands-on experience with vSphere in production environments
- Exposure to NSX, networking or security concepts
- Experience working with customers or internal stakeholders
- Strong troubleshooting and implementation skills
- Desire to grow into a more senior consulting or architecture role
Required Skills
You’ll be able to demonstrate a good understanding, knowledge and experience of the VMware by Broadcom core products, infrastructure and other adjacent products or technologies. You should have engaged with customers to implement and support products based on the customer’s specific use case and requirements. The position requires good technical knowledge along with communication skills across areas such as:
- VMware vSphere
- VMware NSX
- VMware HCX
- VMware Site Recovery Manager
- VMware Aria Operations
- VMware Aria Automation
