We are looking for trauma-related support from a highly trained mental health professional. You will be helping those who are delving into true crime stories, investigations, and the intricacies of the justice system to cope with. Our aim is to illuminate not just the events, but the context, consequences, and human stories behind every case. You will provide support through interventions tailored to the needs of the team ensuring a compassionate, empathetic, and ethical approach throughout the healing journey.

What are we looking for?

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine the nature and extent of trauma. Use a variety of diagnostic tools, interviews, and standardized questionnaires to formulate a clear picture and inform treatment planning.
  • Treatment Planning: Advise on intervention strategies and expected outcomes. Collaborate with the team to ensure plans are person‑centred, measurable, and adaptable.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence‑based trauma‑focused therapies suited to the needs of traumatised individuals.
  • Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate psychological support and stabilization for those individuals experiencing acute distress. Introduce de‑escalation techniques and safety planning as required.
  • Education: Provide information on coping skills, self‑care strategies, and available resources.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress against treatment goals, and adjust interventions as necessary. Utilize outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy.
