We are looking for trauma-related support from a highly trained mental health professional. What difference will you make? What are we looking for?

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine the nature and extent of trauma. Use a variety of diagnostic tools, interviews, and standardized questionnaires to formulate a clear picture and inform treatment planning.
  • Treatment Planning: Advise on intervention strategies and expected outcomes. Collaborate with the team to ensure plans are person-centred, measurable, and adaptable.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based trauma-focused therapies suited to the needs of traumatised individuals.
  • Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate psychological support and stabilization for those individuals experiencing acute distress. Introduce de-escalation techniques and safety planning as required.
  • Education: Provide information on coping skills, self-care strategies, and available resources.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress against treatment goals, and adjust interventions as necessary. Utilize outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy.
