Podcast researcher to join our volunteer team. The researcher will provide the editorial backbone of each episode, ensuring that our content is accurate, compelling, and rooted in evidence.
This role strengthens Rebel Justice by ensuring episodes are evidence-based, timely, and impactful. Through rigorous research, guest preparation, and fact-checking, the researcher enhances credibility, amplifies marginalized voices, and supports hosts in delivering accurate, compelling narratives that advance justice reform.
What are we looking for?
- Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into accessible content.
- Familiarity with the UK justice system, human rights law, feminist advocacy, and grassroots activism.
- Experience in journalism, legal research, or academic writing is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively in a collaborative team environment.

What will you be doing?
- The Podcast Researcher will conduct in-depth research on justice reform, prison conditions, human rights, and advocacy campaigns.

- Working with producers and hosts, they will shape narratives, ensure accuracy, fact-check transcripts, and draft show notes to support each episode.
