About the role

As a Junior Finance and Operations Executive – you’ll assume ownership of banking and transactional responsibilities of the firm. This is a crucial role within XTB’s regulatory framework and is essential to client satisfaction. You will be responsible for handling client deposits and withdrawals, which also includes transactional monitoring from a compliance perspective.

There will be exposure to FCA regulatory requirements such as client money segregation, stock reconciliation, FCA reporting (financial reports) and FCA standard audits. As a junior finance and operations, you will work closely with the finance manager and XTB’s Compliance Team.

Your responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in the running of the Finance Department
• Process client withdrawals and deposits
• Managing external payment provider platforms
• Assist with client money segregation duties (CASS)
• Assist with FCA Gabriel reporting – financial reports
• Actively work and contribute to increasing efficiency of systems, controls and processes.

Our requirements

• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both oral and written
• A-level qualified. University degree, ideally in Finance/ Economics/ Banking/ Business Administration or related field
• Financial or operations experience within the financial sector/ banking/ FX is preferable
• Ability to work effectively within a small team
• Strong Excel skills including some understanding of VBA
• Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-moving environment
