We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to help define, build, and scale the Xsolla Money Account. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex problem spaces, enjoys working hands‑on with engineering and partners, and is motivated by turning ambiguity into shipped, high‑quality products. The Xsolla Money Account is a strategic initiative to build embedded financial services for gamers, creators, and developers. The product spans wallet capabilities, card issuing, payouts, and future financial tools that remove friction from how value moves across the gaming ecosystem.
Sitting at the intersection of fintech and gaming, the Money Account enables new business models, creator monetization, and deeper player engagement. You will own critical parts of the Money Account roadmap and execution, working closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable financial products. Success in this role requires strong product judgment, technical fluency, the ability to navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, and consistent follow‑through from concept through launch and iteration. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys staying close to execution and takes pride in seeing complex work through to completion. This is a high‑impact product area operating in a dynamic, evolving environment with meaningful technical, regulatory, and partner complexity. The opportunity is to shape foundational financial infrastructure that will scale globally and directly influence how money flows through the gaming economy.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Contribute to the Money Account product strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Identify opportunities to expand wallet, issuing, payouts, and related financial capabilities for gamers and creators. Balance user experience, technical feasibility, regulatory considerations, and partner constraints when shaping solutions.
- Product Definition & Delivery: Translate product strategy into clear, high‑quality PRDs that provide context, rationale, and actionable requirements. Partner closely with UX/UI designers to craft intuitive, trustworthy end‑to‑end user experiences. Work with engineering teams using Jira and Confluence to manage scope, priorities, and delivery. Drive features from ideation through build, testing, launch readiness, and post‑launch iteration.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, compliance, legal, finance, marketing, and customer support teams. Communicate goals, tradeoffs, and timelines clearly to maintain alignment across stakeholders. Support internal enablement by helping teams understand new features, user flows, and operational impacts.
- Partner & Platform Engagement: Work with external partners such as wallet providers, issuing banks, BaaS platforms, and card networks. Participate in partner discussions to clarify requirements, dependencies, and delivery expectations. Contribute to evaluations of vendors, platforms, and capabilities that support the Money Account roadmap.
- Data, Insights, and Iteration: Define and monitor key product metrics related to onboarding, engagement, and usage. Use data, user feedback, and partner insights to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement. Continuously refine products based on performance and evolving customer needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience & Background: 8–12+ years of product management experience in fintech, payments, embedded finance, or e‑commerce. Proven experience delivering complex, cross‑functional Fintech products from concept to launch. Experience with digital wallets, card issuing, payouts, or BaaS platforms. Strong technical fluency and comfort working closely with engineering teams and APIs.
- Product & Execution Skills: Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured product requirements and execution plans. Strong project management and execution skills, including the ability to plan work, manage timelines and dependencies, track action items, and proactively surface risks or blockers. Strong organizational and prioritization skills; comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously. Strong proficiency with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, and related tools) to manage backlogs, document requirements, maintain execution visibility, and support prioritization and planning workflows. Data‑informed mindset with the ability to use metrics to guide decisions.
- Collaboration & Mindset: Collaborative, humble, and solutions‑oriented approach to problem solving. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and reassessing assumptions as new information emerges. A proactive, can‑do mindset with a bias toward action—someone who rolls up their sleeves, tackles problems head‑on, and looks for ways to move work forward rather than waiting for perfect conditions. Comfortable operating in ambiguity and change, maintaining momentum even as priorities evolve. Proactive, hands‑on attitude with a bias toward ownership and execution.
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with fraud management, risk, chargebacks, or compliance considerations. Experience in gaming, digital goods, and creator platforms.
