Are you an apprentice-trained Fabricator/Welder looking for more than routine production welding? We're recruiting on behalf of a growing business in Pontefract for a Fabricator/Welder to join the team on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with a strong opportunity to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.
THE ROLE
- Fabricating and assembling automatic industrial gates and associated bespoke steelwork.
- MIG welding to a high standard from engineering drawings.
- This is workshop-based with some on-site installation work; it is not a production welding role.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Apprentice-trained and qualified Fabricator/Welder.
- Proven fabrication experience, not just production welding.
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards.
- Clean driving licence preferred.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- £16.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience and ability.
- Overtime after 45 hours: 1.33x midweek, 1.5x weekends.
- Strong opportunity to secure a permanent position.
- Higher rates considered for candidates with site experience or gate/automation background.
