We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established fabrication business in Essex for an experienced General Fabricator to join their workshop, working across a varied range of bespoke metalwork projects.

THE ROLE

You'll be producing bespoke metalwork from start to finish, cutting lists, drawings and modifications through to fabrication and fitting. Work includes staircase and stairwell fitting alongside general bespoke commissions for commercial and domestic clients.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 15-20 years' fabrication experience with the right attitude to match
  • Proven ability fitting stairwells and staircases
  • Strong bespoke fabrication background - not just repetitive production work
  • Confident producing and working from cutting lists and technical drawings, and able to modify designs as jobs demand
  • Comfortable across a range of drawing types and reading them accurately

WHAT YOU'LL GET

  • £18.00 - £25.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Consistent 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 - no weekend working
  • A varied, hands-on role with an established local business
