We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Architect to join our team for a key client project on a contract basis. This is a technical delivery role where you will be expected to design, implement, and support the robust systems you create. Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and implementation of complex Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions for our client.
- Translate complex business problems and requirements into effective, straightforward technical solutions and system architecture.
- Design and implement core business processes and system integrations within the Dynamics environment.
- Define and configure appropriate teams, roles, and security groups to ensure a robust security model.
- Customise and configure D365 F&O using best practices in X++ or C#.
- Drive change in highly integrated, complex technical environments, ensuring seamless deployment.
- Provide expert guidance and technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Substantial, demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions (formerly Dynamics AX).
- Deep technical proficiency that allows for both architectural design and hands-on implementation.
- Certification or equivalent expertise: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proven success engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Methodical and well-organized approach to challenges, ensuring efficient and effective outcomes.
- Expertise in:
- Designing and implementing integrations (e.g., using T-SQL/SSIS).
- Customisation and development with X++ or C# languages.
- Working with Microsoft Power Platform services.
- Utilizing D365 Common Data Model / Data Lake.
- Life Cycle Services (LCS)
Desirable
- Architectural frameworks and practices e.g. (TOGAF, Zachman)
- Agile methodologies
- Azure DevOps
- Synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
- Data import tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure principles and security
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Physical Chemistry
- ITIL foundation certification
