Northern Skills are recruiting on behalf of CGS Landscape Ltd, who are looking for a hardworking, motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join their team. During the course of this apprenticeship, you will be learning the role of a business administrator while also gaining a qualification.
Wage: £15,600 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices.
Hours: Monday - Friday, between 9.00am - 5.00pm. 37 hours 30 minutes a week.
Duration: 1 year 6 months.
What you’ll do at work:
- Answering and making phone calls
- Working on site drawings
- Composing and replying to emails
- Generating and analysing quotes and prices
- Ordering materials such as plants/turf
- Invoicing and estimating
- Using Customer Care
- Composing letters
- Arranging weekly meetings and taking minutes
- Typing up reports
- Project work from 9th month
- Arranging Events
- Purchase Orders
- Managing logistics of jobs/staff
Where you’ll work: UNIT C2 COMMERCE WAY MIDDLESBROUGH ENGLAND TS6 6UR
Training: Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
Skills required:
- Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation
- Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem
- Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required
- Produces accurate records and documents including emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals
- Makes recommendations for improvements and presents solutions to management
- Drafts correspondence, writes reports and reviews others’ work
- Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures
- Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks
