AI. Real-time data. Sport performance analytics We’re looking for a technical co-founder (CTO) to join a pre-seed sports tech startup building the future of performance analytics through AI, real-time telemetry, 3D visualization, and intelligent feedback systems. The product vision, brand, prototype, and go-to-market foundation are already in place. We’re now seeking a hands-on technical partner to take full ownership of the engineering stack and help bring the product to life. This is a builder role — ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys solving hard technical problems, and wants true ownership of the tech side of a high-potential venture. Previous startup experience is a plus, particularly if you’ve contributed to fundraising, investor relations, or pitch development, and bring an understanding of commercial strategy, go-to-market execution, or user acquisition. We’re looking for someone eager to help shape both the product and the business. Who you are You’re a senior engineer with more than 10 years of experience or a former CTO, ideally with experience in sports, fitness, simulation, or performance-based platforms. You know how to go from 0 to 1, shipping fast and scaling smart. You’re familiar with agile practices and are a self-starter who fills gaps as needed, technical or otherwise. Core Skills ++Strong across: Frontend: React, Angular, JavaScript, Tailwind, TypeScript, WebGL, Backend: Supabase, Postgres, Node.js or equivalent real-time stack C++ for simulation, telemetry parsing, or performance-critical modules ++Real-Time Data Handling Ingesting, syncing, and storing high-frequency time-series data Structuring data for live querying and parallel access Managing latency, precision, and throughput across platforms ++Data Visualisation Building intuitive visual layers: graphs, timelines, spatial tracking Real-time overlays and comparisons for simulation or coaching contexts Translating raw telemetry into actionable visuals ++AI/ML Experience Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, XGBoost Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI fine-tuning, Anthropic Claude, custom LLM training Skilled in data labelling, embedding generation, prompt design, and model evaluation ++ Nice to Have Experience with XR or real-time 3D engines Familiarity with Unity for simulation or immersive analytics Understanding of WebXR or real-time rendering pipelines Exposure to spatial computing, 3D telemetry mapping, or interactive data storytelling What you will build A scalable real-time data engine for ingesting and visualizing telemetry A trainable AI assistant that contextualizes performance data in natural language Interactive tools to compare time-series and spatial performance metrics A system for training, deploying, and improving custom ML/LLM models A modern backend and frontend stack supporting live sessions and intelligent feedback Responsabilities Fully own the technical architecture and infrastructure roadmap Build core systems for real-time data ingestion, storage, and querying Set up AI pipelines for LLM integration, fine-tuning, and inference Design modular, testable components optimized for performance Collaborate on product roadmap, GTM, and investor readiness Establish a fast, focused, and accountable engineering culture Commitments&Terms ~ Generous equity with milestone-based vesting ~ No salary initially (pre-seed stage) ~ Looking for a hands-on, committed co-founder — not an advisor or consultant ~1-week trial sprint to validate fit ~ Remote-first — EU or US time zones preferred
