Exciting opportunity to join a specialist global engineering consultancy as a Principal Engineer focused on the development of Power Electronics. The Principal Engineer will lead the design and specification of magnetics and capacitors for power converters and inverters. As Principal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading large complex projects, managing internal teams and resources, and working closely with customers from both a technical and commercial perspective.

Key Skills/Experience

  • Extensive experience in the development of power electronics and magnetics technology (OBC, DC/DC, AC/DC), with exposure to related industries including Defence, Marine, Aerospace, Automotive, Off-Highway, or Commercial Vehicles.
  • Strong experience with HV (High Voltage) systems and products.
  • Proven experience leading a range of technical programmes and projects, including managing multiple stakeholders and internal teams/resources.
  • Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to work directly with customers.
  • Experience participating in calls and meetings, handling both technical and non-technical discussions.
