We have a contract opportunity to join a high-performance engineering team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in motorsport technology. Based in Oxfordshire, you will be responsible for designing cutting-edge electrical systems that drive success both on and off the track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, sensors, and actuators, from concept to detailed implementation.
  • Work closely with engineering departments such as Aerodynamics, Transmissions, and Powertrains to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.
  • Prepare clear, concise technical documentation, including specifications and operating procedures.
  • Take ownership of fault diagnosis, conducting thorough analyses and implementing effective solutions.

Required Experience:

  • Proficiency in Electrical eCAD software for wiring design.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles.
  • Experience in designing and integrating electrical and electronic systems, including MIL-spec wiring harnesses and connectors.
  • Familiarity with Raychem harness systems, Autosport connectors, and high-performance ECU systems is advantageous.
