Composite Inspector – Motorsport (PolyWorks / CMM) – Contract Location: Northamptonshire Sector: Motorsport / High-Performance Engineering Contract Type: Contract / FTC We are recruiting a Composite Inspector to support a high-performance motorsport manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring composite components meet exacting dimensional and quality standards before assembly and track use. The position would suit an inspector with hands-on composite inspection experience and either PolyWorks capability or CMM programming experience, operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven motorsport environment. Key Responsibilities * Dimensional and visual inspection of composite components * CMM inspection using PolyWorks and/or PC-DMIS (or similar) * Interpreting CAD data, engineering drawings, and inspection plans * Creating, running, and adjusting inspection programs as required * Producing clear inspection reports and non-conformance documentation * Working closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams * Maintaining full traceability and compliance with quality procedures Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience as a Composite Inspector * Background in motorsport, F1, automotive, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing * Experience with PolyWorks and/or CMM programming (PC-DMIS beneficial) * Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional control * Confident working to tight tolerances and high quality standards * Methodical, detail-focused, and able to work autonomously * Right to work in the UK What’s on Offer * Competitive contract rates * Opportunity to work on cutting-edge motorsport programmes * Long-term contract potential based on performance and workload * Modern, high-spec inspection and manufacturing environment
