Buyer – Motorsport & F1\\n\\nLocation: Oxford\\n\\nSector: High-Performance Motorsport & F1\\n\\nWe are seeking an experienced Technical Buyer to support a fast-paced F1/Motorsport programme. You will be responsible for sourcing complex engineered components, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring materials and parts are delivered on time to support critical build schedules.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Manage end-to-end procurement of technical and engineered components for F1/motorsport programmes\\n\\n * Source high-quality suppliers, negotiate pricing, lead times and contractual terms\\n\\n * Interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications to ensure accurate purchasing\\n\\n * Work closely with Design, Production, Planning and Build to support programme milestones\\n\\n * Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement\\n\\n * Manage PO creation, order tracking and expediting of critical items\\n\\n * Support cost-reduction initiatives and BOM accuracy\\n\\nEssential Experience:\\n\\n * Strong background as a Technical Buyer within F1, motorsport, automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering\\n\\n * Ability to read technical drawings and understand engineering terminology\\n\\n * Proven experience managing complex supply chains and fast-turnaround projects\\n\\n * Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills\\n\\n * Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines\\n\\nDesirable:\\n\\n * Experience with carbon composites, CNC/machined components, or rapid-prototype suppliers\\n\\n * ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Epicor, IFS, etc.)\\n\\n * Familiarity with build/support environments such as F1 race teams or performance engineering
