We’re supporting a high-performance engineering subcontract business operating across motorsport, aerospace, and defence, and they are looking to bring in a Senior Composite Laminator to strengthen their shop-floor capability. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-led environment, working on complex composite structures with demanding quality standards.
The Role
- Manufacture high-quality composite components using pre-preg carbon fibre
- Work across a variety of projects, from low-volume prototype motorsport parts to regulated aerospace and defence components
- Interpret engineering drawings and lay-up schedules accurately
- Carry out tool preparation, lay-up, bagging, and curing
- Support with trim, finishing, and assembly where required
- Maintain strict adherence to quality and process standards
- Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement on the shop floor
