This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our team and help further the development of XP School in Doncaster.
You will join a “Crew” of dedicated professionals in an innovative school setting with the purpose of improving life chances for young people in Doncaster.
At XP Trust, our teachers are more than educators; they are creators, leaders, and role models. You will work collaboratively to design and deliver innovative, interdisciplinary learning expeditions that inspire students to think deeply, work courageously, and act with integrity. We expect you to set high standards for both academic excellence and character development, guiding students to craft beautiful, meaningful work that leaves a lasting impact on their community and the world.
As a member of our Crew, you’ll foster a culture of teamwork, equity, and belonging, embodying the values of respect, craftsmanship, and compassion every day. Joining XP Trust means becoming part of a community that does things differently. We believe education is about more than passing exams – it’s about shaping thoughtful, capable, and kind individuals who are ready to change the world.
Here, you’ll collaborate with passionate colleagues to create groundbreaking learning experiences, supported by a culture that prioritises personal growth and professional development. If you want to teach in a school where your creativity is valued, your work makes a difference, and you can be part of something bigger than yourself, XP Trust is the place for you.
These design principles are the basis for all our work. We focus on enabling our students to create beautiful work that creates agency and has a positive impact on the world; we encourage leadership in our students by facilitating the ownership of their own learning; and we have an unabated insistence on equity to ensure that we remove any barriers that inhibit student growth and success. Therefore, at XP we focus relentlessly on high quality work and character growth. As a result, our school culture is value driven.
We provide an authentically tough and rewarding education for everyone, and we believe this is best achieved through not segregating our children by any measure, such as social class or academic ability. We believe a person is judged by their character and the quality of work they produce. Our school focuses continuously on these two crucial areas of development.
Our children express who they are by personalising their work, and are given time to produce beautiful and meaningful work by following a process of multiple drafts and critique, working towards creating products which are indistinguishable from professionals. Every day, our children develop their habits of work and learning by working hard, getting smart and being kind, and reflecting on our character values of courage, respect, craftsmanship and quality, compassion and integrity.
