About the Role:
Office presence expected every 2/3 weeks, we seek Senior Pensions Administrators to join our team, providing top-tier administration for trust-based pension schemes. Responsibilities include guiding team members, checking, verifying tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring compliance with pension laws. Strong communication and proactive support are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and support junior team members
- Verify and authorize team activities
- Calculate and dispense scheme benefits
- Maintain membership records
- Engage in project work assigned by managers
- Coordinate with clients, actuaries, and third parties
- Offer verbal and written technical insights
- Ensure ISO and AAF accreditation compliance
- Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Experience in DB schemes and the pensions sector
- Organizational skills and a methodical approach
- Support development of high standards and customer service
- Effective communication and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent
- Ideally A Level education or equivalent
- Commitment to pursuing pensions qualifications (e.g., CPC/QPA/DPC/RPC/APMI)
