About The Role

Our objective as the XPS Group’s legal team is to educate, guide, protect and drive legal compliance in all aspects of our business. XPS is looking to expand its function and are seeking to hire an Apprentice Data Analyst with hybrid working arrangements. The position is a fixed-term 18-month apprenticeship with a paid salary, working closely with our Legal and Procurement Teams. The primary office location will be Reading, with required visits to the London office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing our contract repository, including updating records, flagging issues, and producing reconciliation reports.
  • Providing access to systems and training colleagues on their functionality.
  • Supporting administrative tasks related to data and contract management as required.
  • Analysing data to identify trends and patterns, utilising AI where applicable.
  • Creating reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present insights.
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide data analysis services.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and greater efficiencies.
  • Ensuring data compliance and security, adhering to company policies and legislation.

Due to the changing nature of the business, the job holder may from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within their capabilities.

Essential Your Profile

  • Willingness to complete the Applied Data and AI Specialist Apprenticeship Course (Level 4)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Strong Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • An interest in data analysis and emerging technologies such as AI.

Qualifications

  • A Level in IT or Computer Science

Desirable

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools or platforms (e.g; Power BI or similar).
