Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage pension administration services for the assigned client portfolio.
- Oversee day‑to‑day client relationships with trustees and corporate clients.
- Participate in marketing, new‑business pitches and client meetings.
- Provide expert advice on pension queries and keep abreast of industry developments.
- Manage project delivery for renewals, benefit statements, pension increases, etc.
- Ensure accurate billing and invoicing of admin time.
- Disseminate service delivery objectives to team and present technical matters.
- Conduct internal audits, quality improvement and implement changes.
- Manage workflow, workload allocation and resolve delivery issues.
- Appraise staff, set objectives, handle performance management and recruitment where needed.
- Mentor and develop team members to meet company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive client service.
- Report to senior management and adapt to changing business needs.
Your Profile
- Expert knowledge of pensions administration for Defined Benefit schemes.
- Strong understanding of pensions legislation and ability to stay updated.
- Supervisory, leadership and performance monitoring experience.
- Experience in third‑party pension administration preferred.
- Presentation skills for client pitches and trustee meetings.
- Aptitude for numerical analysis.
- Project management experience in pension administration.
- IT proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
Desirable
- Experience in marketing and new business activities.
- Ability to develop business contacts.
