About the Role

Location: UK‑Wide

Employment Type: Permanent / Fixed Term / Part‑Time

Hybrid Model: Minimum 2 days per week in office (flexibility for specialist roles).

Typical Project Areas

  • GMP Rectification and GMP Equalisation
  • Buy‑In / Buy‑Out Projects
  • Data Cleansing Exercises
  • Scheme Closures, Benefit Rectification & Liability Reduction Projects
  • McCloud Implementation (Police, Fire, MOJ & LGPS schemes)
  • Pension Dashboards
  • First‑time outsourcing and large‑scale transition activity

Essential Experience

  • Experience working with Defined Benefit schemes or Defined Contribution schemes
  • Strong understanding of pensions administration processes
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, legislation and scheme rules
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, letter)
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Desirable

  • Experience checking or mentoring others
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability
  • Project or technical pensions experience
  • Studying toward (or interest in) professional pensions qualifications — CPC, QPA, DPC, RPC, APMI

Qualifications

  • Strong GCSE Maths and English (B/6 or above preferred)
  • A‑Levels or equivalent experience
