About the Role
Location: UK‑Wide
Employment Type: Permanent / Fixed Term / Part‑Time
Hybrid Model: Minimum 2 days per week in office (flexibility for specialist roles).
Typical Project Areas
- GMP Rectification and GMP Equalisation
- Buy‑In / Buy‑Out Projects
- Data Cleansing Exercises
- Scheme Closures, Benefit Rectification & Liability Reduction Projects
- McCloud Implementation (Police, Fire, MOJ & LGPS schemes)
- Pension Dashboards
- First‑time outsourcing and large‑scale transition activity
Essential Experience
- Experience working with Defined Benefit schemes or Defined Contribution schemes
- Strong understanding of pensions administration processes
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, legislation and scheme rules
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, letter)
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Desirable
- Experience checking or mentoring others
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability
- Project or technical pensions experience
- Studying toward (or interest in) professional pensions qualifications — CPC, QPA, DPC, RPC, APMI
Qualifications
- Strong GCSE Maths and English (B/6 or above preferred)
- A‑Levels or equivalent experience
