About The Role
We are currently seeking a qualified actuary to join our GMP Equalisation team. We have a unique approach to solving the problems around GMP and are looking for technically minded people to join our large GMP team. Though previous experience in GMP calculations is an advantage, a desire and ability to grasp complex actuarial concepts and find solutions to them is a requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and signing off on complex actuarial models and calculations
- Reviewing written advice to clients on this topic
- Can include, if desired, delivering that advice to clients in meetings
- Regular liaison and communication with the GMP team, client team and other departments in XPS.
- As the GMP projects wind down, we will be able to provide a wider technical career being involved in a variety of technical focused avenues.
- Opportunity to get involved in specialist research and development teams in areas that interest you. These teams provide resources and ideas for the wider team.
