Our Pensions Advisory business continues to grow, and we are now looking for a number of Actuarial Analysts to join our GMP Equalisation Team. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with experience as a qualified/part-qualified pensions actuary who enjoys the technical aspects of actuarial work. We are also interested in hearing from candidates with a pensions administration background. While not a job requirement, study support is available towards actuarial qualifications if this is part of your chosen career path.
About The Role
We are looking for a number of Actuarial Analysts to join our GMP Equalisation team. We have a unique approach to solving the problems around GMP and are looking for technically minded people to join our friendly supportive team.
Though previous experience in GMP calculations is an advantage, a desire and ability to grasp complex actuarial concepts and find solutions to them is a requirement. In this role you will be working as part of the GMP team to assist clients in equalising pensions for their scheme members.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with and understanding member data
- Reviewing complex calculations
- Reviewing written advice to client teams and supporting them as you work through the projects together
- Regular liaison and communication with the GMP team, client team and other departments in XPS
- Opportunity to get involved in specialist research and development teams in areas that interest you. These teams provide resources and ideas for the wider team
- Training and managing more junior colleagues as they embark on their actuarial career

- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
